Napa Police Log: Man with Knife Arrested after Meth Freakout
The suspect was tazed twice and threw a knife at an officer before he was taken into custody, according to the Napa PD.

A family member called police requesting assistance and advised the responsible, Shawn Thomas Henry, 47 yrs, Napa Resident, was possibly under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of a knife.

Upon officers’ arrival, Henry came out onto the front porch armed with a knife and confronted the officers. He was ordered to drop the knife, but refused.

Henry was tazed a second time and threw the knife at the officer who was operating the tazer.
The knife did not strike the officer and Henry started to comply with orders and was handcuffed.
He was arrested and transported to QVH, where he admitted to using methamphetamine. While at the hospital, Henry repeatedly tried to injure himself and had to be placed in a soft restraint system to be transported to .
Henry was booked at the jail with no further incidents, according to the log.
