Napa Police Log, July 21-22

A DUI crash and two domestic violence assaults: Arrest information from the Napa Police Department does not indicate a conviction.

Just before 4:30 Thursday afternoon at , a 23-year-old Napa woman was arrested for felony domestic violence after cutting her partner with a piece of glass, according to a shift activity log released by the :

Napa Police Officers responded Queen of the Valley Hospital for a report of an assault that occurred in the 500 block of River Glen Dr. The victim and the suspect, Kayla Chambers (8-28-87) of Napa, who live together, got into an argument. During the argument the suspect threw (a) piece of glass that hit the victim in the foot causing a cut. The suspect was arrested and booked at . An emergency protective order was issued protecting the victim from the suspect.

A 26-year-old Fairfield motorist was arrested with a knife, drugs and an elevated blood-alcohol count after a hit-and-run crash shortly before 5:30 p.m. Thursday, according to police:

Napa Police Officers responded to the 900 block of Clinton St. on a report of a non-injury hit and run collision involving 3 vehicles. The suspect, Nicholos Askim (8-29-84) of Fairfield, fled the scene in his vehicle and was located by officers a few miles away. The suspect was determined to be under the influence of alcoholic beverages while driving. Suspect was also in possession of an illegal knife and suspected controlled substance. The suspect was booked at NCDC.

Just after 1 p.m. Friday, a reported dispute led to the arrest of a 33-year-old woman whose partner said she punched him in the face before damaging and then stealing his vehicle, according to police:

On 7-22-11 at about 1303 hours, officers responded to a disturbance at First and Matt Dr. The victim reported the suspect, Jessica Duncan 10-22-77 Napa Resident, had punched him in the face and damaged his vehicle. The suspect then stole the victim’s vehicle. A short time later, she returned the vehicle and was located and arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery, vandalism, and vehicle theft.
