Napa Police Log: Attack with Knives

The following arrest information was provided by the City of Napa Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 20-year-old man was arrested in the 500 block of River Glen Drive Sunday night after a knife attack that left his victim uninjured, but with a shredded shirt, according to a shift activity log released early Monday by the :

At 2121 hours, the suspect got into an altercation with his mother’s boyfriend. During the altercation, he went to the kitchen and got two knives and threatened to kill the boyfriend. He lunged at the victim with one of the knives which caught the victim’s shirt, but did no injury. 

John Luna was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats and a warrant for trespassing in Fairfield, according to the police log.
