Napa Police Log: Arrests May 26-27

The following arrest information was supplied by the Napa Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

A domestic argument that turned violent late Thursday night concluded with both sides under arrest, according to a shift activity log released Friday by the :

NPD Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2200 block of Adrian St. regarding a domestic violence incident.

Upon arrival they learned the following: Two subjects who live together got into an argument. During the argument, suspect #1 allegedly pushed the Suspect #2 backwards onto the bed. He held onto her arm as he took her phone away from her. She had a visible injury on her arm. Suspect #2 allegedly pushed Suspect #1 numerous times during the argument and ripped his shirt.

Both suspects were arrested for domestic violence related charges.

Also Thursday night, police made an arrest for domestic violence with sexual assault, according to the log:

NPD Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2100 block of Main St. regarding a domestic violence incident and sexual assault. Upon arrival they contacted the victim who reported the suspect, Salvador Salomon 44 years old, sexually assaulted her against her will and physically assaulted her during the incident. Salomon was located at the residence and placed under arrest. He was later booked at NCDC.

A Vacaville man took a trip to the on suspicion of possession and transportation of marijuana after police found weed in his vehicle Thursday afternoon, according to the log:

A vehicle was stopped in the area of the 1100 block of Trancas St. for a vehicle code violation and the driver, Dustin Robinson, 19 yrs Vacaville Resident, was contacted. He admitted to possession of marijuana and during a consent search of his vehicle, marijuana, along with other evidence, was located that indicated he had been selling marijuana. Robinson was arrested and booked.

Napa police are also investigating a vehicle collision that left a small child with a broken leg Friday afternoon, according to the log:

A 4-year-old child was struck by a vehicle, which was travelling westbound in the 2400 block of Vine Hill Dr. It appears the child darted into the roadway after a ball. An adult family member was present, but unable to prevent the accident. Neither speed nor alcohol appears to be a factor and the accident is under investigation.  The child was transported to QVH- ER by Piners and was in stable condition with a leg injury.
