I know this will seem juvenile, but arrested at 4:20 how appropriate.

I knew it might seem juvenile to mention it ... but I took the chance.

Kim I noticed that too! We were actually looking for info on an arest on Satueday about 7 PM on Pacific St near Lincoln. Saw about 8 Napa PD and Sherriff cars go after something or someone. probation? Drugs? Gangs?

Did you see suspect(s) taken into custody, Cathy? We would likely not be notified unless there was an arrest or a description of a wanted suspect police felt the public could help identify/locate.

Hi Louisa could not see that close from where we were on south corner of Lincoln and California. (We were on our way toC ompadres for dinner) We stopped because of the lights and cop cars behind us on West Lincoln and on California heading to scene and Sherriff coming from East Lincoln. Could have been a CHP incident, maybe they called in for backup from Napa PD and Sheriff. Maybe someone with a scanner heard what happened? Sometimes the other news source in town can take 5-7 days to reporting these types of incidents.

V_Therese, yes I think that is the one they chased by my house on Saturday. I turned on my scanner and listened when I heard all the sirens. Perhaps Louisa can verify, but he was reported originally for entering someone's side yard, and when police arrived he 'ran' from them on his bicycle. He was eventually found hiding behind the insurance office on the corner of Lincoln/Marin.

I was actually off over the weekend, for the first time in many months - I'll see what my contact at the PD can tell us about this.
Scott Yeager November 20, 2012 at 07:45 PM
I noticed you were off. Time off for good behavior?
Louisa Hufstader (Editor) November 20, 2012 at 07:55 PM
Thanks for noticing, Scott! Well, first I got sick and then I already had time off planned for Friday through the weekend. It was a nice break. We also have Thursday and Friday off this week, but I'll be around, of course.

Yep. Just got the police report - misdemeanors only. Publishing shortly.

OK, here's the story - such as it is! http://napavalley.patch.com/articles/suspect-arrested-after-fleeing-napa-police

Thank you. Looks like I heard what the original stop was for, wrong. See listening to to scanners doesn't make me an expert. ;) It must have been related to places he ran, or what a witness told the officers, I DID hear them say they didn't want to press 'trespassing' charges though, but things can always change. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone! I am thankful for Patch and all of you who make it wonderful and engaging!!!

You're sweet, Belle. As to the arrest - Compared to some of the other calls Saturday, this one was pretty mild: http://napavalley.patch.com/articles/fights-guns-drugs-duis-in-napa
