Napa Police: Domestic Assault, False Imprisonment

 A Napa man was arrested Friday for domestic assault with minor injury and for false imprisonment, according to a media log from the Napa Police Department:

Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2500 block of Laurel St. Upon their arrival, they contacted the victim, who had visible injury to her face.

The victim said the suspect had slapped her in the face and prevented her from leaving a room they were in during an argument.

The suspect, Huerta, Rafael 26 yrs Napa Resident was not located until several days later, when he was arrested and booked without incident.

The assault took place April 26, according to police.
