A call for police at around 10:20 p.m. Saturday resulted in a man's arrest on suspicion of domestic violence, according to an arrest summary from the City of Napa Police Department:
Officers were dispatched to a call of an assault in the 2000 block of Sommer St. Officers arrived at the residence and contacted the victim, who stated Edward McCullough had come home intoxicated and began arguing with the victim.
The argument became physical, as McCullough shoved the victim to the ground and began to drag the victim through the house, which caused minor injury to the victim. The victim's injuries did not require immediate medical attention.
McCullough was taken into custody and booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections.
Arrest information does not indicate convictions.
