Napa Police: Dogs Find Juveniles After Stolen-Car Chase

After a police pursuit ended with a stolen car crashing into a fence, canines from the apprehended two juveniles early Saturday, according to a media log from the :

On 040911 at approximately 0200 hours an NPD officer observed a vehicle driving without headlights on and speeding in the area of Terrace Drive and Coombsville Road. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, which had been reported as being stolen. The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated. The vehicle continued until it collided with a fence in the area of Belvedere Court. Three suspects fled from the vehicle. NPD and NSO K-9’s located two juvenile suspects hiding in separate locations. 

The two were arrested on charges of vehicle pursuit, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property and violation of juvenile probation, according to the media log.
