Napa Police: Car Chase Ends in Crash, Arrest
Ashley Finch, 29, allegedly led police on a high-speed chase that ended when she crashed into a front-yard fence at Tiffany Lane and Laurel Street early Sunday, according to Napa police. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.
A 29-year-old Napa woman was arrested early Sunday on suspicion of felony reckless driving while evading police, driving on a suspended license and violating probation, according to a shift activity log from the City of Napa Police Department:
On 10/15/12 at approx. 0100 hrs a Napa PD Officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of Roosevelt and Laurel St.
The vehicle sped away from the officer and the officer followed in pursuit.

The vehicle accelerated to a high rate of speed and lost control in the area of Tiffany Lane and Laurel St and collided into a fence in the front yard of a nearby residence.
The driver of the vehicle, Ashley Finch (6/25/83) of Napa, was apprehended as she exited the vehicle.

She was determined to be driving on a suspended driver’s license and to have warrants for her arrest for a prior probation violation charge.
Finch was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections, police said. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.
