Napa Police Blotter: ID Theft, Noisy Drunks and a Knife

Recent arrests from the City of Napa Police Department. Arrest information does not indicate convictions.

A 42-year-old woman was jailed Friday on suspicion of identity theft, attempted burglary and violating probation after police said she posed as another patient in an effort to get prescription drugs from Queen of the Valley Medical Center, according to an arrest summary from the City of Napa Police Department:

On 12-7-2012 Marlindia Welch went to QV Hospital for medical treatment so that she could obtain free drugs for her drug habit by providing another person’s information to obtain the drugs. Welch is on probation out of San Mateo County. Welch was arrested and booked at NCDC.

Two men were arrested Friday evening for public intoxication and violating probation after a drunken disturbance was reported near Koh;'s, according to an arrest summary from Napa PD:

On 12/7/2012 at about 1935hrs NPD officers responded to a disturbance in the 800 block of Main Street. The responsibles, Scott and Pallet were located in the Kohl’s Parking lot. Both were extremely intoxicated and uncooperative. Both are on probation in Napa County. 

Pallet, 36, and Scott, 26, were booked at the jail, police said.

Smoking on the River Walk, a city park where smoking is prohibited, led to the arrest of Anthony Michael Field Saturday on suspicion of concealing a dirk or dagger, police said:

On 12-8-2012 at about 1337hrs., NPD bike patrol officers contacted Field in the 700 block of the River Walk with a group of subjects smoking cigarettes in a city park. Field agreed to a search of his person. A concealed knife was located on his person. He was arrested and booked.
