Napa Police: Arrests at Homeless Camp and Downtown

At approximately 0953 hours Officers went to the 300 block of Soscol Avenue to conduct a check of a homeless encampment. Officers contacted Fitzgerald, Joshua (22 of Napa) at the campsite and determined he is on felony probation with search and seizure.
Fitzgerald was found in a tent with a methamphetamine pipe and was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and violating probation, according to the log.

A second meth-related arrest took place near downtown Thursday afternoon, according to the log:
At approximately 1624 hours Officers were in the area of Brown Street and Yount Street when (S) Lowery, Ronald (41 of Napa) was contacted during a consensual contact. Lowery displayed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Lowery is on probation and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
