Napa Police Arrest Suspect the Same Day as 'Wanted' Posting Sent Out

Napa Police arrest man within hours after Napa Valley Crimestoppers issues special posting for him.

Napa Police on Tuesday arrested a 43-year-old man less than 24 hours after Napa Valley Crime Stoppers issued a "special posting" on him.

According to Crime Stoppers, Samuel Carrillo Ayala was wanted for felony domestic violence, witness intimidation, spousal battery, false imprisonment with enhancements for prior strike, prior prison and prior felony.

Napa Valley Crime Stoppers, which offers cash rewards for tips on fugitives, had sent out a notice Tuesday about Ayala. Normally the agency waits until Thursday or Friday to send out photos and stats on Napa County suspects.

Information on the circumstances surrounding Ayala's arrest was not immediately available.
