Napa Police: 2 Arrested After Pursuit

Two Napa men were arrested Tuesday night after leading police in a vehicle and foot pursuit on Soscol Avenue near downtown, according to a shift activity log released early Wednesday by the :
On 08/23/11 about 2151 hours an NPD Officer was northbound on Soscol Ave. and saw a Ford SUV drive over the raised concrete center median at Soscol and Third.
The Officer made a U-turn in an attempt to make an enforcement stop and noticed the vehicle headed south on Soscol Ave. at a high rate of speed.

The SUV was driven to a parking lot in the 600 block of Soscol Ave. and parked.
The Officer saw two subjects run from the vehicle.

A perimeter was set up by responding NPD units.
Joshua Bagg, 20 years old of Napa, and Shane Dosange, 25 years old of Napa, were located a short time later.
Both Bagg and Dosange were wearing dark clothing and gloves.
Dosange was on non-revocable CDC parole and on active Napa County probation.
Dosange was placed under arrest for resisting/obstructing a peace officer and violation of probation.
Bagg was arrested for resisting/obstructing a peace officer.
A search of the vehicle revealed suspected marijuana.
Both men were booked at the , according to police.
