Napa PD: Arrests for Biting (1), Suspected Drugs (4)

The following arrest information was provided by the City of Napa Police Department. It does not indicate arrests.

A Napa teenager was arrested Saturday morning for battery with injury after a family member said she had bitten him, according to a media log released Sunday by the Napa Police Department:

Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2700 block of Soscol for a family disturbance. Upon their arrival, they contacted the victim, who advised he had been bitten in the arm by a family member during a verbal dispute. The suspect, Kelsie Marie Whiteley, 19 years, Napa Resident, was located and arrested. She was booked without incident.

Shortly after noon Saturday, a woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, according to the log:

Debra Farr, 45 yrs, Napa Resident, was contacted walking in the 1200 block of Division St. She consented to a search of her person and a controlled substance (Suspected methamphetamine) was located. She admitted to having just purchased it.

At 7:50 p.m. Saturday, according to the log, police made two arrests for possession of a controlled substance and violation of parole:

Billy Eugene Aldridge, 63 yrs, Napa Resident, was contacted in the area of Riverside and Brown Streets and known to be on parole. During a parole search, a controlled substance (suspected methamphetamine) was located in his bag. He was arrested and booked.  

Edward Wood, 56 yrs, Napa resident, was also contacted with Aldridge and displayed objective signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He consented to a search of his person and vehicle. A bag located at his feet was searched and property belonging to Wood was located inside it along with some hypodermic syringes and a controlled substance (suspected methamphetamine).  Wood was arrested and booked.

At 3:40 Sunday afternoon a Napa man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and violation of parole, according to the log:

Officers were dispatched to the area of Bancroft Ct. and Kilburn Ave. for a suspicious subject in the front yard of a residence. Upon their arrival, they located James McCurdy, 26 years, Napa Resident, in a front yard. He displayed objective signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance and was arrested. In a search incident to arrest, a controlled substance (suspected heroin) was located on his person. He was also arrested for a parole violation. He was booked without incident.
