A 21-year-old Napa man suffered a stab wound early Wednesday, police said.
Napa Police said they found Omar Ayala down in the parking lot of the Woodland Apartments in the 2400 block of Old Sonoma Road at 5:16 a.m.
Officers said Ayala was bleeding from a non-life threatening stab wound to his leg.

Police said Ayala provided minimal details about what had happened to him.
Ayala stated he was confronted by four to five people outside of the apartment complex.

The group members jumped him, he told police. He said one person, who he said had long hair, stabbed him.
The investigation is ongoing.
