Napa Man Jailed for Suspected Domestic Violence, False Imprisonment

He's accused of holding a woman against her will and inflicting visible injuries, according to police. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Napa police arrested a 29-year-old man suspected of committing an act of domestic violence and holding a woman against her will Friday night, according to a shift activity log from the :

On 05/25/12 about 1857 hours NPD Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of Pueblo Ave. regarding a domestic violence incident. Upon arrival the Officers contacted the victim.

The victim reported she got into an argument with the suspect, Jose Rolando Gonzalez Rojas 29 years old of Napa.

During the argument Rojas grabbed the victim’s arms and neck causing visible injuries.

Rojas prevented the victim from leaving a bedroom in the residence or calling the police.

Police located Rojas at the scene and placed him under arrest, according to the log. He was booked at the on suspicion of domestic violence and false imprisonment, police said.
