Napa Man Jailed After Alleged Burglary Try

A 31-year-old parolee went back to jail Friday after police said he tried to break into an occupied home on Wilkins Avenue. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

A Napa man was arrested early Friday on suspicion of attempted burglary, dissuading a witness and violating probation, according to a report from the City of Napa Police Department:

On 10-26-12 around 0800 hours NPD Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Wilkins Ave for a welfare check / burglary report.

The investigation revealed that Jason Slusher (31 year old Napa resident) attempted to break into a residence when the victim was home.

Slusher then attempted to dissuade the victim from reporting the crime.

Slusher is on active parole with the California Department of Corrections.

Slusher was booked at the Napa County Department of Corrections, police said.
