Napa Man Jailed after 911 Calls to Ex's House

Whether or not he was harassing an ex-lover with bogus 911 calls, 22-year-old Eduardo Marin was jailed for a probation violation after Napa police found him with knives and evidence suggesting gang ties, according to this arrest summary.

A 22-year-old Napa man was arrested at about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday after police conducted a probation search of his home following a series of unfounded 911 calls the day before, according to an arrest summary from the City of Napa Police Department:

On 10/30/12 a subject called 911 several times to report various problems at an address in the 1500 block of Trower Ave.

After going to the residence and investigating the complaint it was determined there were no problems.

It was learned that one of the residents’ ex-boyfriend, Eduardo Marin (22 yrs. of Napa), may have been calling 911 to have the Police respond to the residence in an effort to annoy and harass the residents at this address.

Marin was found to be on Napa County Probation with search and seizure terms. Officers went to Marin’s residence to conduct a probation search.

During the search, items Marin was prohibited from possessing including knives and gang indicia were located. Marin was arrested for the probation violations.

Marin was booked at the Napa County Department of Corrections, police said. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.
