Heroin, Meth, Syringe Alleged in Arrest

Arrest information from the City of Napa Police Department does not indicate a conviction.

Just after midnight Monday, police spotted a man sitting in a parked car in the 500 block of River Glen Drive, according to a press release from the City of Napa Police Department.

The officers searched the man, whom they identified as 29-year-old Gabriel Afana of Napa, according to the release.

They discovered in his possession suspected heroin, methamphetamine and a hypodermic syringe, police said.

Afana was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of heroin and methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic syringe, according to the release.

He was booked into the , police said.
