Napa Man Arrested for Narcotics Violations

A Napa man was arrested late Tuesday night on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, a narcotic controlled substance and possessing hypodermic needles, according to Napa Police.   

Rick Vernon Morgan, 58, of Napa, was stopped by police after an officer witnessed him turning his bike in front of an oncoming van on the 700 block of Lincoln Ave. According to police, Morgan admitted to having syringes on him, and a search produced suspected methamphetamine and a Norco pill without a prescription in his possession.
