Police said the girl, 12, and a 20-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening wounds when they were shot by a gunman who shouted a gang slogan, sprayed them with bullets and fled, according to the Times-Herald.
A 12-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man, both from Napa, were shot in the legs Saturday night in an apparent gang-related assault in Vallejo, according to a report in the Times-Herald.
Vallejo police said the two were outside a home on Grant Street around 10 p.m. when a Cadillac drove up and a passenger stepped out, shouted a Sureño gang slogan and sprayed them with bullets before fleeing in the car, the newspaper reports.
The victims were treated at a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening wounds and denied any gang involvement, according to the Times-Herald.
