Napa Fire Busy on Wednesday Morning

A falling tree downed power lines in a Napa neighborhood Wednesday morning, according to a report in the Napa Valley Register.

The power line sparked a brush fire which threatened a structure in the area of Wilkins and Imola avenues and forced the evacuation of a house, according to the report. The report also said Napa Valley College lost power, but it was quickly restored to the school.

In a separate incident, a 69-year-old man was injured early Wednesday when he literally tried to catch a bus on Solano Avenue, according to the Register. The man was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center with moderate injuries.
