Napa County Fugitive Arrested After Tip

Someone gets a cash reward from Napa Valley Crime Stoppers for tipping authorities to the whereabouts of Alberto Quesasa Quezada, who was arrested Sunday.

Napa Valley Crime Stoppers is dropping another name from its list of fugitives with the arrest Sunday of Alberto Quesasa Quezada, who was wanted for felony probation violation on a conviction of burglary.

According to the Napa County Sheriff's Office, Quezada was arrested as the result of a citizen tip.

Crime Stoppers, a private nonprofit that partners with law enforcement and the media to publicize wanted fugitives, offers no-questions-asked cash rewards in exchange for tips leading to arrests.

I'm curious as to how much the cash rewards are?

They've never been more specific than "up to $1,000," Louise, but I suspect in most cases it's considerably less. You can read more about the program in the introductory article, http://napavalley.patch.com/articles/crime-stoppers-cash-rewards-come-to-napa
