More Men Arrested for Alleged Meth, Napa Police Say

Arrest information from the City of Napa Police Department does not indicate convictions.

Two Napa men were arrested Thursday evening on suspicion of drug activity following a vehicle stop, according to an arrest summary from the City of Napa Police Department:

Officers stopped David Binstock (57 yrs. of Napa) for a vehicle mechanical violation in the area of Kansas Ave. and Soscol Ave.

Upon initial contact, officers noticed that Binstock and his passenger, Scott Robinson (48 yrs. of Napa), appeared to be under the influence of drugs.

A search of Binstock resulted in an officer finding suspected methamphetamine in Binstock’s coat pockets.

Officers searched Binstock’s vehicle and found two small baggies of suspected methamphetamine, along with other packaging material consistent with the sales of drugs.

Both subjects were arrested and booked into Napa County Department of Corrections for possession of a controlled substance for sale and for the transportation of a controlled substance.
