Missing, "At Risk" Woman Sought in Napa County

Linda Evans, 51, a bipolar woman with dementia, has been missing from American Canyon since Friday without the medicine she needs. She is considered "at risk," according to the Napa County Sheriff's Office.

Updated 8:45 a.m. Oct. 23: Evans has been found safe in Vallejo, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The Napa County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in finding a bipolar American Canyon woman with dementia who has been missing since Oct. 19 and may have made her way to Napa, according to a bulletin from Capt. Tracey Stuart:

On October 20, 2012 at about noon, a care provider flagged down an American Canyon Police Officer to report that she had not seen a client since the prior day.

Linda Evans, 51 years old, 5’7, 145 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes, unknown clothing description. Linda Evans does not have access to a vehicle and would be travelling on foot or by bus. She has dementia, is bipolar, and does not have her medications with her.

Linda Evans lives in American Canyon, but prefers to spend time in Napa.
