Metal Thefts Top $24K in August
Napa Valley Crime Stoppers is offering cash rewards for anonymous tips leading to arrests in any of August's metal thefts in Napa County.
Thieves stole more than $24,000 worth of metal signs, sprinkler heads and other metal materials in Napa County last month, according to Deputy Jon Thompson of the and .
Wednesday afternoon, Thompson issued a list of unsolved thefts for which Crime Stoppers is offering cash rewards in exchange for information leading to arrests.
Items stolen during the month of August 2011:

• 2’ x 10” steel letters spelling KENZO ESTATE, value $1500, stolen from the 3200 Block of Monticello Road
• 200 brass sprinkler heads, value $2200, stolen from the 3100 block of Silverado Trail

• 8” brass letters spelling SIGNORELLO ESTATE WINERY, value $4,000, stolen from the 4500 block of Silverado Trail
• 7 pounds lead brick and 100 feet of copper wire on a roll, value $521, stolen from the 5700 block of Broadway in American Canyon
• ½ ton storage bin labeled HALL, value $3,000
• 40,000 LBS of copper pipe, value $13,000, stolen from the 400 block of Highway 29
Anonymous tips leading to arrests for these thefts are eligible for no-questions-asked cash payments of up to $1,000 from Napa Valley Crime Stoppers.
