Man Jailed After Trying to Ram Wife’s Car, Police Say

Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

A Napa man was arrested Sunday evening after his estranged wife told police he was following her in his car, according to a shift activity log released by the .

On 11/6/11, Napa Dispatch received a call from a female victim reporting she was being followed by her estranged husband, Michael Ordonez, 28 of Napa. 

As she drove to the police department, officers stopped Ordonez.

An investigation revealed Ordonez tried to prevent the victim from leaving the parking lot at Pueblo and Jefferson, kicking her vehicle as she drove away. 

Ordonez then followed in his own vehicle, driving on the wrong side of the road to catch up to her.

Ordonez then attempted to ram the victim’s vehicle with his. 

Ordonez was booked for assault with a deadly weapon, police said.
