Man Arrested For Felony Hit And Run

Police say suspects carried baseball bats toward Henry's bar after being thrown out earlier in the night

Abraham Rojas, 20, was arrested early Sunday morning after police say he struck a pedestrian in his car near Main Street near Second Street and sped off, eventually being stopped in American Canyon by American Canyon police, Napa County Sheriff's deputies and CHP. Witnesses following the vehicle helped law enforcement until police stopped the car. Rojas was charged with felony hit and run and violation of probation.

Police say the evening began with 23-year-old Miguel Rodriguez and Humberto Nieto, 23, drinking at Henry's Bar. They were told to leave by staff for causing a disturbance. Later, police say witnesses saw them trying to return to the bar carrying baseball bats. A witness "intervened" and the men fled in a car with Rojas behind the wheel.

After law enforcement stopped Rojas in American Canyon, police say Nieto and Rodriguez were identified as having carried the baseball bats to the bar. Both were arrested for possession of a deadly weapon and violation of probation.
