Man Arrested for Assault with Deadly Weapon after Downtown Fight

A Napa man was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after a fight on Main Street in the first hour of Saturday, according to a shift activity log released by the :
On 11/05/11 about 0034 hours NPD Officers responded to the 500 block of Main St. regarding a fight.
Upon arrival the victim was located and the officers learned the following.

The victim and the suspect, Aaron Robertson, 35 years old of Napa, got into a physical fight.
During the fight the victim was taken to the ground and Robertson kicked the victim in the head several times causing visible injury.

Medical aid was summoned for the victim and Robertson was located in the area.
Robertson was arrested and booked at the , police said.
