Woman Jailed for DUI, Child Endangerment

A crash on Imola Avenue Sunday evening resulted in a trip to jail for a Napa woman who was driving while drunk with three small children in her car, according to police. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

 

A 26-year-old Napa woman was arrested Sunday evening on suspicion of DUI and felony child endangerment by officers investigating a traffic collision, according to a shift activity log from the :

On 05-06-12 at about 1905 hours, Officers were dispatched to the area of the 1600 block of Imola Avenue for an accident.

Kacie Elaine Vieau, 26 yrs, Napa resident, was one of the involved drivers.  She was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. 

Based on her condition at the time of the accident and the fact she had three small children in her vehicle, she was arrested for DUI and felony child endangerment.  She was booked without incident.

The children were not hurt in the crash, police said. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.
