Kidnapping, Sexual Assault Among Crimes Alleged in Homeless Napa Man's Arrest

He is also charged with robbery, criminal threats, vehicle theft, false imprisonment, domestic battery and possession of methamphetamine, according to Napa police.

 

A 37-year-old homeless man was arrested on Newport Drive Monday afternoon after reportedly committing a drug-fueled string of crimes including robbery, criminal threats, kidnapping, vehicle theft, sexual assault, false imprisonment, domestic battery and possession of methamphetamine, according to a shift activity log released by the :

On 6-4-12 Suspect Christopher Hood 4-19-74, Transient, threatened the victim’s life while armed with a knife; by force/fear made the victim drive him to a gas station in the City of Napa and used the victim’s access card to remove $200.

Suspect left the victim at the victim’s residence and took the victim’s car without permission. 

Victim also reported a sexual assault committed by Hood.

Hood returned with the vehicle later that day and was arrested for the above charges. 

Suspected methamphetamine was located in the victim’s car. Hood displayed objective signs and symptoms of being under the influence of methamphetamine. 

Hood was arrested at 2:40 p.m. and booked at the , according to the police log. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.
