Kidnapping, Attempted Rape Alleged in Napa Arrest

A woman went to the police department Monday to report she had been held against her will, beaten and sexually assaulted by 24-year-old Glenn Edwin Jones, who was arrested Tuesday, according to Napa police.

 

Police have arrested 24-year-old Glenn Edwin Jones of Napa on suspicion of assault with intent to commit rape, domestic violence, false imprisonment, sexual penetration with force, kidnapping and parole violation, according to a shift activity log released by the City of Napa Police Department:

On 6/18/12, NPD Officers received a report of domestic violence and sexual assault from a 24 year old woman who came to the Napa Police Department.

The Victim told officers she had been recently held against her will by Jones near the 2400 block of Old Sonoma Road.

The Victim had visible injuries and reported she had been beaten and sexually assaulted by Jones.

The Victim was transported to Queen of the Valley Medical Center and released. 

On 6/19/12 NPD Detectives contacted Jones in the 200 block of Soscol Ave. He was arrested without incident.

Jones was booked at the , police said. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.
