UPDATE: Seizure May Have Led to Accident on Occidental Rd.

The CHP is now saying that the driver of Thursday morning's accident on Occidental Rd. was not injured, may have had seizure

A woman whose car crashed into a power pole on Occidental Road west of Santa Rosa Thursday morning might have suffered a seizure before the collision, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

Contrary to earlier reposts, the unidentified woman was not injured in the 9:45 a.m. collision near Piezzi Road, but was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for observation, CHP Officer Kerri Post said.

CHP Officer Jon Sloat yesterday said a silver Toyota struck and knocked down a power pole and telephone wires around 9:45 a.m. The pole fell on top of the vehicle, according to CHP.

The eastbound lane of Occidental Road was shut down and two-way traffic control was in effect until the investigation and clean-up was complete.

The CHP initially reported the woman suffered major injuries. No further details have been released by CHP at this time, and the name and condition of the injured driver are unknown.

I dont understand why this incident is of interest to us in Rohnert Park? It's about 20 miles from here, out in the sticks. i think this is more for the PeeDee.

Last I checked, Rohnert Park wasn't part of Healdsburg either...

This accident was not in Rohnert Park. It was in "Sebastarosa," as the locals call it. But everyone drives, not everyone lives and works at home in Healdsburg, and sometimes the borders of interest are broader than civic. Sorry if this troubles you.

Well it's just not focused on us anymore. Used to be. Whats happened?

I dont buy your story, anyway. Sebastarosa?Give us a break.
