Injured Drivers ID'd in Hwy 121 Crash

The Napa Valley Register has published the names of the two Napa men who were hospitalized after a head-on collision west of the Napa County line early Tuesday morning.

The driver who was seriously injured after his car crossed the center lines on Highway 121 in Sonoma County and hit a big-rig early Tuesday morning has been identified by the California Highway Patrol as 50-year-old Michael Chiurco of Napa, according to an update on the website.

A second Napa driver, 59-year-old Michael Hays, suffered minor injuries when the big-rig struck his pickup truck after colliding with Chiurco's Toyota, the newspaper reports, while the driver of the big rig was uninjured.
