Head-On Angwin Crash Sends One to Hospital, One to Jail
The Press Democrat is reporting that the CHP suspects motorist William Fontana, 46, of being under the influence of drugs when he struck another vehicle head-on, sending its driver to the Queen.
A 46-year-old Angwin man was jailed on suspicion of DUI following a head-on collision on White Cottage Road Tuesday night that sent another Angwin man to Queen of the Valley Medical Center with major injuries, according to a report in the Press Democrat.
William Fontana is suspected of being on drugs when he struck the car driven by Charles Pina, 44, the newspaper reports.
Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.
