Grass Fire Limited on Silverado Trail

The late-afternoon Labor Day blaze was contained to about 1/4 acre by CalFire Napa firefighters. The cause is under investigation.

Just after 5 p.m. on Labor Day, CalFire responded to a grass fire in the 2300 block of the Silverado Trail outside Napa.

The fire in a dry creek bed was quickly contained to about a quarter-acre. The cause is under investigation.
