UPDATE: Yountville Gas Line Repaired; Evacuations Lifted Thursday Afternoon

UPDATED: Thursday, May 15, 3:15 p.m.

The Napa County Fire Department and the Napa County Sheriff's Department lifted the evacuation and alert to residents at 3 p.m. today -- Thursday -- following a gas line break in Yountville.

"PG&E has mitigated the gas line issue. Evacuations have been lifted," authorities said.

The Napa County Fire Department reports at 1:40 p.m. today -- Thursday -- that it is on the scene of a break in a gas line at Yountville Cross Road and Yount Street.

Officials advise residents to avoid the area. 

PG&E is at scene.

Napa County Sheriff's Office reports a mandatory evacuation in a one-block radius is underway.
