Four People Arrested on Suspicion of Robbery, Assault with a Deadly Weapon

The Napa Police Department arrested four people on suspicion of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon early this morning

Four people, one a 17-year-old Vallejo girl, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and other charges early Saturday morning.

The Napa Police Department arrested Jon Martel Black, 29, of Napa, Brandon Donahue, 21, of Pinole, Keith Kistle, 21, of Vallejo, and the aforementioned teen on suspicion of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon and in Black’s case, bringing a controlled substance into the Napa County Department of Corrections.

Police went to a home on the 200 block of Homewood Avenue at 3:57 a.m., in response to a report of an assault. They found a woman at the home, who was bleeding from her face and head. She the officers that Black and the others had taken her car without permission after they beat her and hit her with a pistol according to police.

Napa and American Canyon police spotted the vehicle traveling south on Highway 29 near Green Island Road and made a stop. The officers found ammunition inside the vehicle but did not find a gun, police said.

The three men were taken to jail. At the jail, police said that they found methamphetamine on Black during the booking process. The girl was taken to Juvenile Hall.

The woman who reported the crime was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center to be treated for her injuries.
