Firefighters are still at the scene of a home that burned today on Highway 128 near Winters.

Cal Fire Capt. Frank Engelbert said the blaze was called in at 9:50 a.m. at the home at 7001 Hwy. 128, located between Pleasure Cove and Markley Cove near Lake Berryessa.

No one was home at the time and the cause of the fire is under investigation, Engelbert said. He had no immediate word on a damage estimate.
