UPDATE: One Lane Opened on Petrified Forest Road in Calistoga as Fire Continues

One lane opened on Petrified Forest Road; expect delays, police said.

Calistoga Police have opened one lane on Petrified Forest Road as firefighters continue to fight a grass fire.

Expect traffic delays, police said.

The fire is about one mile from Foothills Boulevard, police said.

PREVIOUSLY:
Firefighters from Cal Fire and Napa County fire are responding to a wildland blaze on Petrified Forest Road in Calistoga.

Witnesses said officials have closed Petrified Forest Road until further notice.

The North Bay is current under a fire watch due to dry conditions and wind.
