A guest house at a property in the 1100 block of First Avenue in unincorporated Napa County was heavily damaged in a fire Monday morning, said Cal Fire/Napa County Fire Capt. Amy Head.

Head said the blaze, which was called in by the family in the main house at about 2:20 a.m. today, caused an estimated $75,000 worth of damage to the guest house, which was mainly used for storage.

Cal Fire and Napa County firefighters, with water tender assistance from Schell-Vista and American Canyon fire protection districts, had the fire under control by 3:37 a.m., Head said.

There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, Head said.
