Fire Damages Office on Main; Pets, Groomers Evacuated

Updated 8:15 p.m.: A fire broke out at the offices of a tax preparation and insurance service on Main Street Tuesday morning.

s and one engine from CalFire quickly extinguished a fire at 2205 Main St. Tuesday morning just after 9 a.m.

The fire was located at a which was not open for business.  A dog grooming business located next door was evacuated but there were no reports of any injuries. 

According to a report in the , 10 dogs and a cat were rescued in the evacuation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, city firefighters said.
