Update: Lost Pup Found

Mico ("Mee-koh"), who ran from a kitchen fire on Hennessy Drive Sunday, was taken in by a nearby family and reunited with his owner today.

Updated 9:30 a.m.: Kelly Woods reports on Facebook that

He's SAFE!! A wonderful family found him on Coombsville Road yesterday afternoon and were able to get him to come inside. They took him to the vet first thing this morning and he is being reunited with Rebecca Martin as we speak! We just can't thank everyone enough for all their help. This community is truly incredible!

Although three of the four yesterday are safe, a blond Dachshund mix named Mico is still missing, according to owner Kelly Woods.

Neighbors were able to follow Mico into Tulocay Cemetary, Woods said, but lost track of him after that.

"He's about 18 pounds, blond, dachshund mix, has a black collar with white skulls on it," Woods wrote in an email.

"He doesn't have tags, but he is microchipped so if he is found any vet will be able to scan him. He goes by the name Mico (pronounced Mee-koh) and he's skittish around strangers but he can easily be tempted by food.

If found please contact Rebecca at (314) 808-3404 or myself, Kelly at (805)680-6589."
