Elder Abuse for "Several Days" Alleged in Napa Man's Arrest

Trevor Roth, 27, was jailed Tuesday after an elderly woman told Napa police he had been physically and mentally abusive to her, breaking her television, punching a wall heater and hitting her with a wheelchair, according to an arrest summary.

A 27-year-old Napa man identified by police as Trevor Roth was arrested around 2 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of elder abuse, according to an arrest summary from the City of Napa Police Department:

Adult Protective Services received information of a possible situation of elder abuse at an address in the 1300 block of Jefferson St.

An officer responded to this location and made contact with Roth and an elderly women. The elderly women indicated that Roth had been physically and mentally abusive towards her over the past several days.

During this time, Roth had punched a wall heater causing a dent and broke her television by knocking it off its stand onto the ground. She also indicated that Roth had intentionally pushed a wheelchair into her shin causing a visible injury.

Roth was taken into custody and booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections.
