DUI Motorcyclist Injured, Arrested After Downtown Collision, Napa Police Say

Tyler Lamb, 21, was arrested Friday afternoon following a collision between his off-road motorcycle and another vehicle in downtown Napa, according to police. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

A 21-year-old Napa man, said by police to have been riding helmetless on an off-road motorcycle with booze in a backpack, was jailed Friday afternoon after colliding with another vehicle in downtown Napa, according to a shift activity log from the City of Napa Police Department:

Officers were called to the scene of an accident at First and Main Streets involving a motorcyclist.

Tyler Lamb (21 years of Napa) had been riding an off road motorcycle without a helmet when he collided with a vehicle in the intersection. 

Lamb was under the influence and had an open container of liquor in a backpack.

Lamb was treated by Napa Fire and AMR on scene. 

He was transported to Queen of the Valley Hospital where he was arrested and cited for DUI. 

The other involved motorist was not injured.   

Lamb was arrested on suspicion of DUI and causing an accident with injury, police said.

The log entry did not specify the extent of Lamb's injuries following the collision, which was reported around 3:15 p.m. 

Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.
