DUI Arrest After Red-Light Collision

One person was slightly injured in the late-night crash at Lincoln and California, according to police. Arrest information from the Napa Police Department does not indicate a conviction.

A 28-year-old Napa man was jailed for felony DUI Saturday night after running a red light and crashing into another vehicle, injuring a passenger, according to a shift activity log from the :

On 01/28/12 about 2345 hours NPD Officers responded to Lincoln Avenue/California Boulevard regarding a traffic collision with injuries. Upon the officers’ arrival, two involved vehicles were located.

Officers contacted the suspect, Tommy Humphrey, 28 years old of Napa, who was the driver of one of the vehicles.

Through the investigation, officers determined Humphrey ran a red light causing the collision.

A passenger in the victim vehicle received minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene by medics.

Humphrey also displayed symptoms of alcohol intoxication.

He was evaluated and determined to have driven under the influence of alcohol.

Humphrey was arrested and booked at the , police said.
