Drug Addict Caught with Ammunition, Police Say

Napa police arrested a man Friday afternoon for being a drug addict in possession of ammunition, possession of a controlled substance, violation of probation and being under the influence of a controlled substance, according to a shift activity log released Saturday by the :
On 11/25/11 at approximately 1400 hours NPD Officers were in the area of Central Avenue and Sonoma Street when Bruner, Austin was observed sitting inside of a vehicle.
Bruner was contacted and a round of ammunition was observed on the floorboard near his feet.

Bruner was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance and arrested.
The arresting officers found Bruner to be on probation, and a search of the vehicle revealed more ammunition and the controlled drug Oxycodone, according to police.
