Highway 12 Reopened in Napa County
Updated 4:45 p.m.: Jameson Canyon Road/Hwy 29 has been reopened, but expect "slow going for a while longer," according to the Napa County Sheriff's Office.
Update from the Napa County Sheriff's Office at 4:44 p.m.: "Jameson Canyon Road has re-opened, but it will be slow going for a while longer."
Update from the Napa County Sheriff's Office at 3:51 p.m.: "Jameson Canyon Road (SR 12) is closed between SR 29 and I-80 due to power lines down. Unknown when it will re-open."

Both directions of state Highway 12 are closed in the American Canyon area this afternoon as crews work to remove downed power lines from the roadway, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said.
The CHP responded to a report of downed lines on Highway 12, also known as Jameson Canyon Road, just south of state Highway 29 near the Chardonnay Golf Club in Napa County, at about 2 p.m., CHP Officer Peter Van Eckhardt said.

Both directions of Highway 12 have been closed as PG&E crews work to clear the lines from the road, Van Eckhardt said.
Drivers are advised to take alternate routes, he said.
