Domestic Violence, Vandalism Arrest

The Napa Police Department arrested two individuals in separate incidents early Friday

The arrested two individuals early Friday morning – one on suspicion of domestic violence, the other on suspicion of felony vandalism.

Napa Police officers went to a home on the Archer Avenue at 1:10 a.m., in response to a report of domestic violence. The officers determined that Alberto Villegas, 26, and his girlfriend were arguing when he allegedly pushed her to the ground and held her down when she attempted to leave, according to police.

The officers took Villegas to the Napa County Department of Corrections.

In a separate incident, officers went to the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue at 4 a.m. The officers contacted Donavan Dickerson, 18, in the area and determined that he had vandalized several vehicles' windshields in the area.

They took him into custody and charged him with felony vandalism. Vandalism is usually a misdemeanor unless the estimated damage goes over a specific dollar amount.

In this case, officers are estimating the damage at $1,200 or more.
