Domestic Violence Incidents Highlight Sunday Morning's Police Log

Napa Police officers responded to two incidents of domestic violence early Sunday morning.

Napa Police officers began Sunday morning responding to two separate incidents of domestic violence.

Here's the scoop from the NPD:

On 09/09/12 about 0235 hours NPD Officers responded to a call of an assault in the 1600 block of B St. Upon arrival the Officers learned the suspect, David Ross Owen 22 years old of Napa, went to the victim’s residence uninvited. He got into an argument with the victim, held her down and poured water on her.  He also pushed the victim’s friend (victim #2).  When the victims told Owen’s they were calling the police, he took both of their phones and threw them into the wall, preventing them from calling the police. Owens was located on foot in the area and arrested. He was transported to NCDC and booked.

In a separate incident, earlier Sunday morning:

On 09/09/12 about 0045 hours NPD Officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of Solano Ave. Upon arrival officers contacted both suspects, Gabriela Hudak and Taylor Wainwright both 18 years old. Hudak and Wainwright live together and got into an argument which turned physical. Both of the suspects physically assaulted each other so they were both arrested for domestic violence related crimes. They were both transported to NCDC and booked.
